About

I have a  love of paint itself and what it can do. My work sits between abstraction and figuration. Based in nature-I experiment with colour and shapes and  find that the painting emerges in these experiments. My paintings are oil based  using layers to build up shapes that are covered and then revealed. Colour against colour and the endless challenge of using colour, shapes, and scale to find a visual language.
